Company Dohle was founded in 1870 by August Dohle and Josef Heinrich Dohle in Aachen, Germany. Aachen was well known for its textile industry producing high quality fabrics. Consequently, company Dohle started to produce sewing machines, designed and developed in-house. The increasing sales made it necessary to increase production capabilities. 1950 the company moved it's location from Aachen to Eschweiler. in the 70`s the first Dohle rail mounted machine was developed and successfully brought into the market.The need for stronger sewing machines capable to sew carpets (especially tufted carpets) was early seen by Dohle.
A wide range of machines was developed to fit the customer's demands. Many of those machines are still running. Till nowadays Dohle offers High-End but-end & chain stitch rail & stand mounted sewing machines for all kind of textiles & carpets.
